Bio

I am an international English as an additional language (EAL) specialist, teacher trainer, and curriculum designer with over 18 years of experience empowering educators and students across all learning stages, from 5-year-olds to master’s degree candidates.

Before expanding my work globally, I spent over a decade as an ESOL coach and educator in Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee, leading professional development, mentoring teachers, and creating content-based language curricula. My international work includes leading teacher-training seminars in South Korea and serving as a U.S. Department of State English Language Fellow in Peru, where I train pre-service and in-service educators at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and the Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana.

As a Google Certified Innovator, Trainer, and Platinum Product Expert, I specialize in leveraging educational technology to boost language acquisition and academic success. I frequently facilitate workshops and speak at major conferences, including FETC, ISTE, TESOL, and WIDA. I hold an M.S. in Foreign Language/ESL Teaching from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a B.A. in Spanish and Mass Communications, and work fluently in both English and Spanish.
